Head Start is a preschool for children 3-4 years old from families who meet income guidelines. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of activities. They also receive free health screenings, have healthy meals and snacks and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting.

Early Head Start-Center Based

Early Head Start serves pregnant moms and children ages 0 -3 years old. Services for children are provided in a classroom setting 4-5 days a week/6.5 hours per day for a minimum of 1380 hours year round.

Early Childhood Home Visitation Program

The Early Start Enterprise home visitation program provides services to eligible pregnant women and children ages birth to 3 years. The program conducts visits with the child’s parent, primarily in the child’s home and through group socialization opportunities.
