Early Head Start

Early Head Start is a center based early childhood program that serves pregnant mothers and children 6 weeks-3 years old.  Early Head Start students participate in a fun and nurturing atmosphere that offers learning experiences that promote brain development Monday-Friday for 6.5 hours/day.  Early Head Start staff provide comprehensive services to all children and encourage families to participate in their child’s education. Classrooms are located in Charles City, Clear Lake and Mason City. Eligibility is up to 100% of the federal poverty level.
