North Iowa Community Action Organization is looking for a Client Resource Specialist Floater to support individuals and families throughout our 9-county service area.
This rewarding role helps connect people with essential programs, services, and community resources that make a real difference.
📍 Primary office location: Mason City
📅 One day per week: Charles City
🚗 Limited travel to outreach offices as needed, including:
- Forest City
- Hampton
- Algona
- Clarksville
- Charles City
- Mason City

What You’ll Do
As a Client Resource Specialist Floater, you will:
- Interview clients in office and home settings to assess needs
- Complete applications for North Iowa Community Action Organization programs and services
- Connect clients with community resources and partner organizations
- Provide referrals and follow-up support
- Travel within the service area on a limited, as-needed basis
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of human services experience preferred
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent computer, communication, and assessment skills
- Compassionate, professional, and able to work independently
