Position Overview: The Financial Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of North Iowa Community Action Organization (NICAO) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and analyzing projected program expenses
- Assist with grant applications, amendments, and compliance requirements
- Assist with monthly payroll processes (journal entries, benefit payments, etc.)
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and excel spreadsheets
- Assist with annual audits and work collaboratively within the fiscal department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required)
- Knowledge of fund accounting (preferred)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
